I got this article off an email link to an Australian News website and I’m literally dumbfounded! It is actually a simple test to see if you have a dominant side. When I first saw the dancer, she was only moving in an anti-clockwise direction. When I looked away to read the text then looked back at her again she was turning in a clockwise direction. And ever since then I cannot seem to see her moving in an anti-clockwise direction!
I thought it might be a trick so I asked my Mrs to have a go, and she seems to be able to see her switch directions every few minutes while I can’t! Well at a certain point I gave up and just concentrated on the dancer’s figure…ha ha
*Update* Just experimented and it works! I can finally compel myself to see her switch directions simply by doing some simple mental mathematics!
IT’S the Great Right Brain vs Left Brain Test … do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
