Plot Outline : A lonely boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend aka ‘The Loch Ness Monster’
I was impressed with the acting skills of the young boy actor Alex Etel. And this movie is great entertainment for the whole family. Thank goodness they did an excellent job with the ‘Water Horse’, the effects were so natural that you’d actually believe that such a creature could exist. The storyline was very good indeed, and it was such a relieve that they did not try and insult our intelligence. The only tiny little thing that I felt a little uncomfortable with was that towards the end of the movie, it felt like the ending was a little too similar to ‘Free Willy’. Overall it’s still an endearing tale captured cinematically to last generations!
