YAY! Woo Hoo! *crosses item off Life’s todolist*

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but in the presence of great company….where ever you are or no matter what you do, it’s going to be a whole lot of FUN! Well it started off by meeting my brodiffmo Josh and sissammo G at Bussorah Street (beside Arab street) at a little place called Kampong Glam cafe. There we had a little something to eat and drink before heading for a Shisha session. It’s been ages since I had a plate of delicious Gado Gado!
It was a minute walk to Samar a 24hr Arabic Restaurant cafe, where we sat down to have coffee and Shisha (mixed fruit blend). G and I tried their unique blends of Arabic coffee while Josh ordered an ordinary coffee. Apparently the cows behind the restaurant were on strike as he had to wait forever for his milk to arrive for the coffee. *chuckles*
My Spice Qahwa Coffee….hmmm still can’t get over the unique taste!
Sheesh! Don’t I look like a druggie? Yikes!
Tried to capture the bubbles on film but with frosted glass?? ha ha
Chasing the dragon! hee hee
VP Iron Chariots Josh The Man!
What’s up doc?
Well as the night was still young, Josh suggested we have one or two beers before we made a move. However it would have been a real feat to find a pub in the area we were in. So G suggested we head on to a Karaoke pub called ‘Infinity’ in Katong, where they have an impressive collection of Oldies and 95% of the crowd only sang English songs.
Josh did a great rendition of ‘Lady in Red’ while I was so happy to finally get to sing ‘Don’t Forget to Remember’. Also it was great to do a duet with G after 25++ years, singing ‘Don’t Cry Joni’. She sang it beautifully while I croaked….*sighs* We also sang a few crowd pleaser songs like ‘Living Next Door To Alice’ *winks* and ‘Sister Golden Hair’ *shudders* hee hee. I also got to dance with G and Jill! Woo Hoo! But the highlight of the night has got the be Jill singing ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’. Loretta Lynn would have been so proud, gosh! she even sang it with the typical country cowgirl accent!
Well me being Cinderfella, had to be home before midnight. So just before getting into the cab I managed to get a hug from our homegrown rising country star! Darn it! I forgot to get her autograph *chuckles*
