Stardusted Dinner

Dinner and a Movie, what a marvelous combination! Especially when dinner was to die for! Well it’s great carrying a 3.2mpx for phone when you suddenly have the need or want to capture the moment, or rather the food.

Plot Outline :In a countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man makes a promise to his beloved that he’ll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm.

Here’s a close friend’s take on the movie.

For me personally, it transported me back to the days of reading the Brothers Grimm. Finally being able to visualize vividly what I imagined witches were like and capable of. Now not taking anything away from the movie which trumps ‘The Seeker‘ to oblivion, this classic fairytale written by Neil Gaiman however would appeal more to a far younger audience. Okay perhaps I wasn’t feeling very young at the time…ha ha

It is always a joy watching the great Rob De Niro, and even in this comical role he shows us his mettle as an actor. Michelle Pfeiffer at 49 is still Hot! well to me anyways. Then there is that one scene in which Yvaine played by Claire Danes, professes her love for Tristan (Charlie Cox) which was very well scripted and heartwarming. Okay so I’m a hopeless romantic!

Right! better not give too much away, as I do want to live happily ever after…*winks*
