Starring: Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Xander Berkeley, Leland Orser, Jon Gries, David Warshofsky, Katie Cassidy, Holly Valance, Nathan Rippy
Director: Pierre Morel
Synopsis: A retired spy is compelled to use his ‘skills’ when his teenage daughter is kidnapped.
I absolutely loved this movie! And it was great to see one of my favourite actors ever since ‘Rob Roy’ Liam Neeson in action. And frankly a lesser actor would never have been able to pull off this heavy impact, complex thriller. Also I was thrilled that the ‘adventure’ was set in Paris with an International casts.
The build up in the story is well worth the wait when you get to see the explosive action sequences that follow. This movie has NOTHING to do about choices one makes in moral dilemmas but rather that a father would stop at NOTHING to save his beloved daughter!
This is definitely a keeper! So I can hardly wait for the DVD to be released….

I have been at a constant weight for the past two and half weeks now and I reckon it’s due to overtraining and perhaps even eating less calories. It cannot be because I have been doing the same workouts over and over because I vary the exercise program from day to day.
Anyhow I’ve just c0me across a “Cheat Your Way Thin” or is it “Cheat By Eating Fat Foods Sometimes” method? Anyhow there is some sort of big launch by Joel Marion and I’ll bet his new marketing strategy will cost newbies between USD50 – USD100 however it is very unlikely I’d sign up for it.
Not because I don’t believe in it but because I more or less know how to go about it. In fact in my basic attempt to prove/disprove his theory, I managed to lose 1kg! in one week so I’d expect to see clearer results in a month.

A Woman was admitted to a Hospital after having phone sex. Doctors removed two Nokias, three Motorolas and a Samsung, but no Siemen was found!
A man approached a beautiful blonde at a bar. “I’d like to call you,” he said. “What’s your number?”
“It’s in the phonebook,” she answered.
“But I don’t know your name?” he said.
She replied, “That’s in the phonebook too.”
A man seemed upset, so his co-worker asked, “What’s the matter?”
“My 10 year old son made my secretary pregnant!” the man said.
“Impossible,” the co-worker remarked.
“It’s true,” the man said. “He puctured all my condoms.”

Yeah I know I’ve not been updating this blog as regularly as I’d like to, but just after pulling a double night shift it sort of zaps all the energy out of you! Anyhow this is what I’ve been up to.
Hock Lam Beef Kway Teow
After the first night shift, I made my way to Purvis street to have one of the BEST Beef Kway Teow available here in Singapore.
It was my turn to lead the huddle and so had to prepare some material for it and also plan for an energizer. So I decided to talk about what it takes to be a service ambassador. And for the second bit I decided to share some tips on how we should stand when we are receiving guests/customers and guide them on the way to do a proper handshake.
Planning A Short Trip For The School Holidays
Finally got round to booking a suite, the Theme Park tickets and Travel insurance for our trip to KL for the June school holidays. All that is left is the coach and changing money.
Tap And Ball Cock Replacement
Had to replace the tap for the wash basin and the Ball Cock for one of the toilets! DIY and it only costs me a total of SGD48.00
19 Inch LCD Television For The Bedroom
Managed to get a good deal for a 19 Inch TV at the Courts Megasale for only SGD285! Turn out that the advertisement which stated that it was a Japanese Brand was in fact a Sony Bravia! Woo hoo!
Found this excellent online magazine site, which features Magazines too costly to subscibe to otherwise because of shipping and certain restrictions.
Apart from viewing your magazine subcriptions online they also have a reader which you can download to be used for viewing your subscriptions offline! Love the ability to zoom and easily navigate through the pages! You can try out a handful of free magazines to see if you want to use them, sign up is free!
Contemplating Another Bone Art Piece
Thought of getting another piece I fell in love with for my birthday in June but at present it cost almost USD300.00! Gees! Either I wait for a small windfall again or scrap the idea completely in any case once it’s sold that will be no repeat as it is a collector’s item….*sniff*
*Update 24 Apr* decided not to wait any longer and have placed the order for it!
Anyhow that’s all for now…..time to watch a movie!

Club Med For A Short Holiday?
Well I was thinking of going with the family during the June holidays because it came highly recommended by my supervisor and friend. Practically everything is already neatly packaged so you one doesn’t have to worry about any other miscellaneous items that you would normally worry about on a trip.
They have separate programs for the kids which includes looking after them for the duration the parents decides on and programs for adults as well should they so choose.
Well it certainly is a dream vacation which I currently cannot afford or rather do not want to at this time. Perhaps if I come across a tiny windfall or a nice juicy bonus which of course is no where near in sight! *grins*
Why? Well for just a 2 night stay in Club med Bintan, it would cost me SGD$1924.00! In fact if I were to book a whole suite in a hotel for us in KL for 3 nights together with the coach and even entrance fees to some theme parks it would only cost me approx SGD$1000 so guess I’ll be doing the latter. Besides we get to do some shopping too!
